In honor of the 50 th Anniversary of Huron High School

Facing a new day, we turn toward the light.
The dawn shines again through Ann Arbor.
Armed with our pencils, we study and write
On the banks of the Huron.
The days turn to months, and the months turn to years.
We’ve learned and we’ve grown, and we’ve conquered our fears.
Embracing our differences, now we stand strong
On the Banks of the Huron.
Now we’re surrounded with friends near and far,
As we face the world and its wonders.
With hope for tomorrow, we gaze at the stars
On the banks of the Huron.
The nights when the dawn seemed like miles out of sight
Together we stand ‘til the morning brings light.
Through joy and through suffering we’ve carried on,
On the banks of the Huron.
